西村大樹1985年出生於大阪，從大阪藝術大學畢業後，他開始了畫家的職業生涯。
曾在日本京都的普賢院、高野山、和歌山、本院等日本佛教寺廟展出作品。他簡單的構圖、最少的調色板和堅實的紋理營造出永恆的氛圍。在他強烈的圖像面前，觀者可以看到風景的碎片，卻停留在無限的空間。
