1972年出生於日本櫔木縣，1995年畢業於筑波大學藝術專門學群綜合造形學科，擅於運用機械構造製作出許多活動式的大型作品，已製作、發表的作品如下：《轉圈的鱷魚》、《後退的熊》、《登山的山》、《啪答作響的布》、《重量沒有尾數的雕刻》、《誇張的開放型開關》、《動來動去的圖形或文字》、《敲打10次的裝置》、《只是最大限度利用空間的裝置藝術》、《中學1年級英語課本裡的短文：Hi,Kumi.Hi,Mike.》等。
