梅丁衍

梅丁衍為台灣極具代表性的前衛藝術家，1954年生於台北，1977年文化大學美術系畢業，1985年獲得紐約普拉特學院研究所碩士。他跳脫傳統繪畫寫實的表現方式，擷取達達藝術的反叛精神與挪用現成物的創作方法，運用語意學中雙關語的二元悖反定律，創造個人「似是而非」的視覺語言與藝術風格。並且透過日常物件蒐集與改造的創作過程，融入長期關注身分認同與政治生態的議題，讓看似嚴肅的作品主題，充滿意在言外的幽默與機智。
