在陳老師近七十年的創作系列作品上常可看到清楚的鋸痕、鑿痕或大或小，時輕時重，細心留意他是刻意略去細節的裝飾，保留其刻痕紋路，開創他個人的木雕藝術風格。菩薩或女性柔美的肌里表情或是磊落大方的衣物皺摺，他運用刀法微妙地留下鑿痕呈現出作品完美的自白。
